Chiefs’ Bashaud Breeland says suspension is ‘worst punishment I could go through’
Cornerback Bashaud Breeland knew he’d miss the Chiefs’ first four games of the 2020 season, he just didn’t know how tough it would be to be a spectator.
Breeland was arrested earlier this year, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that his four-game suspension is for a violation of the league’s substance-abuse policy.
In the interim, Breeland is doing his best to supporthis teammates.
After the Chiefs defeated the Texans 34-20 last week, Breeland tweeted:

A few minutes later, Breeland tweeted that serving the suspension has been difficult but he’ll be ready to hit the field when the time comes.
Breeland will be eligible to return for the Chiefs’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Oct. 11 at Arrowhead Stadium.
