Chiefs’ Mecole Hardman issues challenge after Tyreek Hill beat Terrell Owens in race

Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is like a gunslinger in the Wild West. Everyone wants to take their best shot against him ... in a race.

In a video that was widely shared Tuesday, Hill faced off against former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens in a 40-yard dash, and Hill displayed his blazing speed in winning the race.

But to his credit, Owens did really well for someone who is 46 years old.

Take a look at the race:

Owens, who is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and last played in the NFL 10 years ago, had a message for the Chiefs:

After dispatching of Owens, Hill received another challenge.

This was from one of his teammates. Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman would love to race Hill.

Here’s what Hardman tweeted:

Hill seems up for it, which made Hardman happy:

Hardman also wasn’t happy when a fan suggested Hill would win no matter the location:

Wouldn’t it fun if this race took place? Chiefs fans certainly would take the time to watch the Chiefs receivers compete.

Safety Juan Thornhill is in favor of the race, and he wants to take part. Thornhill, who suffered a torn ACL in the season finale, appears to be feeling better:
