For Pete's Sake

A B-2 Stealth Bomber expected to do a flyover before AFC Championship Game

The Chiefs are planning something special for the national anthem before Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.

According to KMBC, a B-2 Stealth Bomber from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri will be doing a flyover when the anthem concludes.

“Continuing a lasting relationship with our community partners, the Kansas City Chiefs organization, the B-2 will kick off the game with a demonstration of precision air power,” a spokesperson for Whiteman AFB said in a statement, per KMBC.

Win or lose, this will be the Chiefs’ home finale this season. The Chiefs’ first game of the 2019 season at Arrowhead Stadium began with a B-2 flyover.
