The Chiefs welcome the Houston Texans to Kansas City for a rare Saturday game this weekend. This will be the teams’ first meeting since 2022.
Chiefs fans are going into this game with a lot of questions. Will Patrick Mahomes play? He suffered a mild high ankle sprain last week against the Browns. Will Hollywood Brown make his regular-season debut as a Chief? He’s spent the entire season recovering from an injury.
Andy Reid suggested both are strong possibilities.
The Chiefs are also looking to make headway toward capturing the AFC’s No. 1 seed, which would result in a first-round bye and home playoff games until the Super Bowl. Their top opposition for the top seed are the Buffalo Bills, who have the tiebreaker over the Chiefs because of their Week 11 victory against KC in Buffalo.
The Chiefs will need to win two of their remaining three games to clinch the No. 1 seed if Buffalo wins all three of its remaining games.
Kickoff is at noon on Saturday and the broadcast will be on NBC (Channel 41).
