The Chiefs are playing a Christmas game in Kansas City: Download a poster

The Chiefs are playing on Christmas, but it’s not all merry.

Kansas City’s team will be at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium to face the Denver Broncos, who are sitting at the top of the AFC and took the AFC West title from the Chiefs for the first time in a decade.

It comes, not only after the Chiefs were eliminated from the playoffs, but also after quarterback Patrick Mahomes and backup quarterback Gardner Minshew suffered knee injuries. Not to mention the hubbub around the Chiefs’ newly announced move to Kansas.

Suffice it to say, there’s a lot going on. And the odds aren’t in the Chiefs’ favor (the Broncos are favored by 12.5).

Still, it could be star tight end Travis Kelce’s last game at Arrowhead Stadium, and it’s a fun way to celebrate Christmas. So you can tune in via Amazon Prime or Channel 41 in Kansas City.

Chris Oladokun, a third-string quarterback who’s spent years on the Chiefs’ practice squad, is expected to get his first NFL start, alongside other players down the depth chart.
