The Kansas City Chiefs remain undefeated as they head to New York to face the Buffalo Bills this weekend.
This is the third time in franchise history that the Chiefs are 9-0. They’re two games ahead of every other AFC team in the standings. The Bills are 8-2 and are currently positioned as the second seed in the AFC playoffs.
Colleague Blair Kerkhoff dug into why this 9-0 Chiefs team could be different than the ones in years past.
This year’s team is the only one in NFL history to begin the season 9-0 despite having trailed in eight of those games.
The Chiefs have never made it to 10-0. And getting there this year will be tough. Buffalo has won its previous three regular-season games against the Chiefs — all in Kansas City. However, the Chiefs have won the past three KC-Buffalo playoff games.
Tune in Sunday to see if the Chiefs will reach this new milestone. Kickoff is 3:25 p.m. Central on CBS (Channel 5 in Kansas City, Channel 12 in Wichita.)
