The Royals have done an excellent job of making their games more accessible to television viewers this season, with contests appearing on local television as well as on FanDuel Sports Kansas City.

However, Major League Baseball still makes some games a streaming-only option on Apple TV+. MLB also has a deal with Roku for a weekly “MLB Sunday Leadoff” game.

The Royals will make their lone appearance on Roku this Sunday when they play the Twins at Target Field.

You will have to stream the game on a computer, tablet, phone or your smart TV. It will not be available on cable. The good news is it’s free. This is how to watch, via the MLB website.

  • Download the free Roku Channel app, which is on Amazon Fire devices, Samsung televisions and Google TVs, iOS and Android devices, Amazon Fire TVs and other Android TV OS devices. Then look for the MLB Sunday Leadoff game, which won’t require a subscription.
  • The Royals game also will be available on your computer at therokuchannel.com. A login is not required as the game is free.

Here is how to watch the Royals’ six games in the upcoming week, along with radio information. Fans also have the option to stream games on the FanDuel Sports app, which is available for purchase through Amazon Prime.
