After his brace in Saturday’s World Cup quarterfinal match, England star Jude Bellingham deserved two scoops of ice cream on Sunday.

Let’s hope Bellingham got it.

We know Bellingham went out for ice cream because Instagram user wendyy_pazz shared a video of meeting Bellingham and a couple of teammates who were at Betty Rae’s Ice Cream in Prairie Village.

“Just a casual stroll in Kansas City🍦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️,” she wrote.

That location is near the Inn at Meadowbrook, where the England team has been staying during the World Cup. But because the “Three Lions” advanced to a semifinal matchup with Argentina on Wednesday, the team is preparing to leave Kansas City.

The team’s media center at KC’s Parks and Recreation building is being closed down on Monday, and the city will take back the space. There is a practice scheduled Tuesday morning at Swope Soccer Village and then win or lose in the semifinal in Atlanta, England won’t be back in KC.

But it’s been fun seeing the team members out and about in Prairie Village and other parts of Kansas City over the past month. That includes Bellingham, who stopped at a KC restaurant last month.
