Memphis linebacker Aubrey Miller gives MU a Tuesday night recruiting trifecta
Missouri hit the trifecta Tuesday on the football recruiting trail.
The Tigers already had landed two verbal commitments — from Bessemer (Ala.) City inside linebacker Jamal Brooks and Carrollton (Ga.) center Case Cook — before Whitehaven High outside linebacker Aubrey Miller Jr. also gave his pledge at 11 p.m. on Twitter.
He called the recruitment process “a stressful journey,” before adding that “once a Tigers always a Tiger” in announcing his decision.

Miller — a native of Memphis, who also strongly considered his hometown Tigers —becomes the second linebacker in Mizzou’s 2017 recruiting class and the 10th known commitment for first-year coach Barry Odom’s program.
With Miller on board, the Tigers have landed six commitments since Saturday, including five from players who took part in the “Night at the Zou” prospect camp last weekend.
Miller, a consensus three-star recruit at 6 feet and 207 pounds, is the No. 49 outside linebacker nationally, according to Rivals.
Meanwhile, 247 Sports ranks Miller as the No. 23 player in Tennessee and the No. 30 inside linebacker in the nation.
He also had offers from Iowa State, Louisville, Memphis, Cincinnati, Colorado State, Middle Tennessee State, Toledo, North Texas and Texas-San Antonio, according to various recruiting services.
