Mizzou football adds another offensive weapon, a wide receiver from DII Angelo State
Missouri Tigers coach Eliah Drinkwitz and his staff made it a perfect three for three on the recruiting front over the past three days.
Mizzou picked up former Angelo State (Texas) wide receiver Keke Chism, who announced his commitment on Saturday on Twitter. Chism, Angelo State’s top wide receiver the past two years, entered the transfer portal on Wednesday.
Chism is listed at 6 feet, 4 inches and 210 pounds and is just another weapon for Drinkwitz’s offense once football returns. Coming from Division II, he’s expected to be immediately eligible. Chism had 878 yards receiving and six touchdowns during the 2019 season.
The Tigers are red-hot on the recruiting trail, adding a pair of pledges to their 2021 recruiting class. Mizzou added junior-college defensive end Shemar Pearl and Florida linebacker Zachary Lovett in the past two days.
