“We have our 21-inch Philly sandwich, one-pound Bavarian pretzel, we have our chicken tenders that are sauced in local Johnny’s Tavern sauce,” KU hospitality general manager Ryan Duncan told The Star. “And then we have our one-pound cheeseburger that’s served on a King’s Hawaiian Bun. (Plus) we have our loaded 64-ounce chicken tinga nacho.”

A personal favorite among Star employees was the chicken tinga nachos, which were filled with flavor and served in a small bucket.

While not available for sampling, there were also two curated Jayhawk cocktails on display.
