Kansas’ Ochai Agbaji and Christian Braun are two of the 76 basketball players who have been invited and are expected to attend the NBA Draft Combine set for May 18-22 in Chicago, the NBA announced on Tuesday night.

The list of players was first revealed by NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

Braun, a 6-foot-7 senior-to-be out of Blue Valley Northwest High School, is in the process of deciding whether to stay in the June 23 NBA Draft and begin his pro career or return to KU. He has until June 1 to remove his name from the draft pool if he wishes to play a fourth season at KU.

Agbaji, 6-5 out of Oak Park High School, has decided to not pursue a super-senior season at KU and is planning on staying in the draft.

Baylor’s Kendall Brown, Matthew Mayer and Jeremy Sochan were the other Big 12 Conference players invited to the NBA Combine.

Players at the NBA Combine will meet with front office personnel of NBA teams, take part in individual drills and play in 5-on-5 games. Also, official measurements will be taken of the participants.

KU’s David McCormack and Jalen Wilson will attend the NBA G League Elite Camp on May 16-17 in Chicago. Some players from the Elite Camp will be invited to stay in Chicago for the NBA Combine.

Wilson, a 6-foot-8 redshirt junior-to-be forward from Denton, Texas, is in the process of deciding whether to keep his name in the draft pool or return to KU for a redshirt junior season. He also attended the G League camp a year ago.

McCormack, a 6-10 forward from Norfolk, Virginia, played four seasons at KU and has indicated he will be starting his pro career rather than playing a super-senior season at KU.

The G League camp gives players a chance to take part in 5-on-5 games and individual drills in front of NBA and G League scouts, coaches and front office personnel.
