Kansas City Mavericks look to get back on track after 3-game sweep by Utah Grizzlies

After a rough road trip to Utah, the Kansas City Mavericks are looking to get back on track this week.

Game recaps

The Mavericks (27-29-1) were swept in a three-game series at the Utah Grizzles last week.

They lost 5-4 in overtime on Wednesday, fell 3-1 on Friday and closed out the series on the Grizzles’ home ice at Maverik Arena with a 6-3 defeat on Saturday.

Mychan’s Milestone

Forward Jesse Mychan registered his 100th career ECHL goal during Saturday’s game. In 29 games with the Mavs, Mychan has accumulated 16 points on five goals and 11 assists.

Upcoming games

The Mavericks played host to the Tulsa Oilers at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence on Tuesday. They head to Rapid City, South Dakota for a three-game series against the Rush this weekend.
