Unified Government candidate Ty Garner talks police, crime, taxes in 4Star appearance
Ty Garner, who’s running for mayor of Kansas City Kansas/Wyandotte County, says crime prevention and police reform are at the top of his agenda.
Garner joined hosts Dave Helling and John Holt on 4Star Politics, a digital production of WDAF-TV and the Star.
Garner said COVID prevention remains a top priority as well. Wyandotte County was one of the worst-hit areas in Kansas.
Garner’s opponent, David Alvey, was scheduled to appear in a debate format, but late Wednesday claimed a scheduling conflict. He’ll appear on a future 4Star program.
