How much more snow did the Kansas City area get? See where the heaviest amounts fell

The Kansas City area received between 1 and 3 inches of snow Thursday night into Friday morning.

Roads were covered in snow for the second time in a week after the overnight storm. Two people died and one critically injured in the early morning after their vehicle slid off of a bridge into the Blue River in south Kansas City.

According to the National Weather Service, the highest snowfall amounts were reported in Olathe and Shawnee, while the lowest were in Leavenworth, Prairie Village, Weatherby Lake, Platte Woods and Oakview.
