Kansas City to see wintry temperatures Friday, but weekend weather rebounds
A dose of cold reality is headed to Kansas City as temperatures plummet Friday.
The temperature will struggle to get out of the lower 40s and winds will make it feel like it is in the 30s, said FOX4 meteorologist Karli Ritter, who provided a weather update to The Star.
The weekend will warm up with above average highs in the mid-50s.
But wintry weather will return Monday.
“We are in the month of December,” Ritter said. “It is going to get a lot colder, especially on Monday, the numbers will be falling throughout the day. We may have a little rain or snow to contend with.”
Temperatures are expected to stay bitterly cold through the middle of next week.
