But fist, Kansas City will see another day of great weather, said FOX4 meteorologist Karli Ritter, who provides weather updates to The Star.
“It is going to stay very warm, well above average for this time of year, with afternoon highs approaching 60 degrees,” Ritter said. “In addition to that we will have clouds increasing throughout the afternoon and evening as our next weather maker approaches.”
Areas south of the Kansas City could see rain overnight.
“Behind this system, it gets a lot colder, but very briefly, as we see highs on Friday in the low 40s, and we are right back into the 50s for the weekend,” Ritter said. “Next week, though, that is were the really cold weather resides.”
