Tens of thousands of Missourians will migrate to Sedalia in August for 10 days of family fun and fried foods.

The Missouri State Fair returns Aug. 7-17, and tickets will go on sale in July to see all the attractions, live performances, contests and more in store for visitors. Each day brings something new to the fair, whether it’s the opening day parade, the Missouri fiddling championship or horseshoe pitching.

Tickets cost $12 for all early admission purchases in July, and if you decide to buy a ticket on the day of the event, it’ll cost $15 for adults, $10 for adults ages 60+ and $4 for kids ages 4-12. Kids under the age of 4 are free.

The fairgrounds are at 2503 W. 16th St., Sedalia, a 90-minute drive east of Kansas City.

It’ll cost extra for guests wanting to see any of the live musical acts coming to the Missouri State Fair. Country icons, ‘90s alternative bands and a chart-topping rap star from the late 2000s will all be in attendance over the fair’s 10 days.

Take a look at who’s performing and how much each performance costs.
