Popular rock band comes back to KC after canceling tour date. Here’s when
After a yearlong delay, the California pop-punk superstars of the late ‘90s and early ‘00s are back in Kansas City one more time.
Blink-182, consisting of Travis Barker, Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus, heads to T-Mobile Center on Saturday, Sept. 27, as a part of their Missionary Impossible Tour. The 20-show tour stops at cities they didn’t travel to for their One More Time tour in 2024 and the three cities they canceled in 2024: Kansas City, St. Louis and Huntsville, Alabama.
The band canceled these tour dates due to singer and guitarist DeLonge getting sick. A reviewer at the Milwaukee show wrote that DeLonge’s “voice was shot, with the guitarist crouching and drinking water between sets to try and carry on,” before they ended the show early Aug. 7.
They released “One More Time... Part-2” in 2024 as a follow-up to their 2023 hit album “One More Time.” The extended release features eight new songs.
Where can I buy tickets for blink-182’s Kansas City show?

Joining the band on tour is another 90s punk band, Chicago-based Alkaline Trio. Their drummer, Matt Skiba, previously played with blink-182 for the band’s 2016 album, “California.”
