Man found shot outside Kansas City, Kansas, home dies at hospital, police say
One man died after a shooting outside a home in a northeast Kansas City, Kansas, neighborhood, police said.
Officers responded around 8:30 p.m. Thursday to the 400 block of Greeley Ave on a reported shooting. They found a man outside a home with an apparent gunshot wound, said Nancy Chartrand, a police department spokeswoman.
Paramedics transported the man to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
No information about what led to the shooting was immediately available.
Police have not yet publicly identified the man who was killed. There was no suspect information available as of Thursday night.
