Police investigating suspicious death after man found dead inside Kansas City home

Kansas City police are investigating after a man was found dead Monday inside a Kansas City home.

Officers were called about 4:45 p.m. Monday to the 2100 block of Northeast Parvin Road on an unknown medical call, officer Doaa El-Ashkar, a spokeswoman with the Kansas City Police department, said in an email.

Once there, police found a man dead inside a residence.

“Due to the unknown injuries it is currently being investigated as a suspicious death,” El-Ashkar said.

Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators are gathering information and processing the scene for evidence, she said.

Anyone with information about this death is asked to call the Kansas City Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $25,000 for tips leading to an arrest in this case.
