Kansas City police release video showing road rage encounter that left one shot

Kansas City police are looking for a person who shot a driver during a road rage incident last week.

Police released a video showing the May 20 encounter at Avenida Cesar Chavez and Jarboe Street.

The video shows a light-colored vehicle stop in the middle of the street and the driver getting out of the car. A few seconds later, the driver gets back in the car and drives away.

Police said the driver of a sports utility vehicle suffered injuries that weren’t life-threatening.

The shooter has not been identified. Anyone with information may call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
