17-year-old dies after triple shooting Sunday in Kansas City, Kansas

A 17-year-old injured in a triple shooting early Sunday in Kansas City, Kansas, died later that day, police said in a news release Tuesday.

Police were called to the 1200 block of Argentine Boulevard just before 2 a.m. because of shots fired, according to a news release from the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. When they arrived, they spoke with the caller and located a crime scene.

They were then dispatched to a hospital where three injured men were being treated. The teen, originally believed to be about 18 years old, was suffering life-threatening injuries. The other two men had non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The shooting remained under investigation Tuesday and no suspects were in custody, according to the news release.
