Blue Springs police investigate homicide after man found dead in Walmart parking lot

Police in Blue Springs are investigating a homicide after a 65-year-old man was found dead in a parking lot.

Officers with the Blue Springs Police Department were dispatched about 2 p.m. Sunday to the Walmart parking lot at 600 N.E. Coronado Drive on a report of a dead body.

The man was identified as Wayne Tindell.

The police department said Tindell’s death was being considered a homicide and the investigation remained active.
