Two men shot and killed in parking lot of Kansas City, Kansas, apartment complex
Two men were shot and killed Monday night in the parking lot of a Kansas City, Kansas, apartment complex, police said.
Officers responded about 10 p.m. to a shooting in the 1000 block of Forest Court, according to the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Two men were found in the parking lot with gunshot wounds.
Police later identified the men as Julian Ponce-Frank and Abdu Wana, both 19, of Kansas City, Kansas.
These were the sixth and seventh homicides in Kansas City, Kansas, this year, according to data kept by The Star.
The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating.
