Kansas City, Kansas, pickup truck driver flees after striking and injuring pedestrian
A pedestrian sustained critical injuries after being struck by a pickup truck, where the driver fled before officers arrived early Friday in the 100 block of North 10th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, according to police.
Officers responded to the wreck at around 9:30 a.m. The pickup driver traveled south on North 10th Street and struck the pedestrian, police said.
The driver fled before police arrived. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.
No other details were released.
