Officers found two people shot inside the gas station. One said he was working security at the business when a person entered the doorway firing a gun. Once the shooter saw the security guard, he shot him, the guard said.

A second man said he was making a purchase when he was shot.

Both victims were taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police on Sunday had no further information about a suspect or about the condition of the victims.
