Kansas City, you look good in pink.

Missouri native Chappell Roan is in town for two nights of concerts on the massive lawn of the National World War I Museum and Memorial. The Grammy winner — born in Willard, Missouri — chose Kansas City as just one of three sites for her mini-tour, Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things.

Kansas City has reciprocated the honor in a very big and very pink way, an homage to her monster hit “Pink Pony Club.”.

And this we know now: It’s true that everyone (and everything) looks pretty in pink.

Ballerinas wear pink for Roan

Dancers with the Kansas City Ballet wore pink dance togs to welcome her to town.

“We’re so excited to welcome @chappellroan home this weekend for her Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things concert!” the ballet company wrote on Instagram.

A towering tribute

The lights on the KCTV Tower in midtown, which were recently relit after being dark since the mid-2000s, glowed pink Friday.

“Pretty in Pink! Was the color really going to be anything else with Chappell Roan in town?!” the TV station posted on Facebook.

Union Station lit up in pink and gold lights on Friday, too, and will remain pink Saturday, the final night of Roan’s concerts across the street from the historic train station.

Balloons, balloons, balloons

Fans needing a selfie backdrop — in air-conditioning away from Friday’s near-90-degree heat — will find a new one in the lobby of the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center near the concert site.

“Our Sheraton lobby is decked out this weekend in celebration of Chappell Roan’s KC shows!,” the hotel wrote on social media. “Stop by, snap a pic, and keep the energy going. Up through Sunday at 5 PM!”

Drinks in pink

Bartenders and baristas have gone over the top this week with pink drinks.

Even the folks at Andre’s Confiserie Suisse have dusted the whipped cream with a sparkly pink topping on a limited-edition hot chocolate for Roan.

“In honor of Chappell Roan’s visit to Kansas City, we had to celebrate the only way we know how… with chocolate! Introducing the HOT TO GO!,” the chocolatier wrote on Instagram.

“Made with our Aztec Hot Chocolate, espresso, whipped cream, and raspberry sugar, it’s spicy, bold, and unapologetically fun — just the way we like it. Spike it with @fivefarmsirishcream for an extra kick.”
