Travis Kelce fans noticed something familiar in logo of Trump granddaughter’s merch
President Donald Trump’s oldest grandchild, Kai Trump, has launched a sweatshirt collection that is making Travis Kelce fans do a double-take.
The golf-playing teen, daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and ex-wife Vanessa Trump, wore one of the sweatshirts when she accompanied her grandfather to the Ryder Cup over the weekend.
It was emblazoned with her initials, KT, the logo used on her new merchandise.
Initial response from Kelce fans: It looks nearly identical to the logo of the new collaboration between Kelce’s sports apparel line, Tru Kolors, and American Eagle. The second part of the collection dropped Wednesday, two days before Kai introduced her sweatshirts.
This is her logo.
This is Kelce’s.
Social media influencers have called out Kai over the logos’ similarities.
Kai, who is 18, has played golf since she was a toddler. She is a competitive golfer who has said Tiger Woods is one of her biggest influences. Her mom is currently dating the golf great.
On Instagram Kai is known as @kaitrumpgolfer.
She launched her new sweatshirts with a video made at the White House. “This collection is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time, and I’m so grateful it’s finally here,” she wrote on Instagram.
Kelce’s new Tru Kolors merchandise is part of a limited-edition partnership with American Eagle.
Some of his fans criticized Kai’s choice of a near identical logo, wondering why the logo seems to read “TK” instead of “KT,” her initials.
“Yikes! Did Kai Trump ‘copy’ the logo of the clothing giant American Eagle’s collaboration with Travis Kelce, ‘Tru Kolors’? Travis’ T is longer, but it looks a LOT like Kai’s,” wrote one X user.
“Kai Trump logo is Temu version of Travis Kelce’s American Eagle Tru Kolor line,” wrote another. “Logo is very similar - only difference is the line of her T is shorter.”
And speaking of logos and Taylor Swift ...
