These Kansas City bars and restaurants will be open for the Chiefs’ Christmas game
As the Chiefs prepare for another Christmas Day game, this time on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers, many families are centering their holiday celebrations around the game, where a win clinches the No. 1 seed for Kansas City.
If you want to share this experience with other Chiefs fans, your family plans don’t start until late or you aren’t celebrating Christmas that day, a few bars and restaurants will be open for the game.
Some will treat it as a typical day, while others are opening just for the game and have a special menu. Here’s where you can go watch the Chiefs play at noon on Christmas.

Charlie Hooper’s Brookside Bar & Grille
- Where: 12 W. 63rd St., Kansas City
- When: 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Charlie Hooper’s Brookside Bar & Grille is open with its regular schedule on Christmas, which includes airing the Chiefs game.
Lew’s Grill and Bar
- Where: 7539 Wornall Road, Kansas City
- When: 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Lew’s Grill and Bar announced on Instagram that it will be open at its regular hours on Christmas. They will be showing the Chiefs game on their TVs.
SaddleCreek Stables & Vineyard
- Where: 5915 S. Norfleet Road, Kansas City
- When: 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
SaddleCreek Stables & Vineyard in the Northland is hosting a buffet that will include prime rib, mashed potatoes, lasagna, broccoli with Italian cheese, salad and sweets. It costs $65 per person for members of the vineyard along with their guests and $75 for non-members.
Single families can also receive an adult dinner for $65, and their kids will eat free at the vineyard.

Score Sports Bar & Grill
- Where: 9100 E. 35th Street South, Independence
- When: 10 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.
Score Sports Bar & Grill is open as usual on Christmas, serving their full menu along with a special Christmas dinner featuring turkey, ham, green bean casserole, potatoes and gravy, pistachio pineapple salad, stuffing and pecan pie.
Sinclair’s Restaurant
- Where: 1402 NW Highway 7, Blue Springs
- When: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sinclair’s Restaurant is hosting a watch party for the game, and chili is on the menu for visitors. They’ll serve drinks until the game’s over.
Twin City Tavern
- Where: 1815 Westport Road, Kansas City
- When: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Twin City Tavern is open with full kitchen service throughout the game, offering $2 off hamburgers and drink specials.
