This comedian’s first stop on new tour is in Kansas City. Here’s when tickets go on sale

Comedian Aziz Ansari is returning to Kansas City.

The actor, comedian and director, known for his roles in popular TV shows like “Parks and Recreation” and “Master of None,” announced his Hypothetical Tour on social media. The tour’s first stop takes place Friday, Feb. 21, at The Midland Theatre in downtown Kansas City, 1228 Main St.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, and fans can sign up for early access here. The rest of the public can buy tickets on Friday, Dec. 13, via Ticketmaster.

The 41-year-old’s tour takes him across 27 cities in North America, including Boston, Nashville, Chicago, Denver and Vancouver. The comedian last performed in Kansas City in 2019.

Ansari’s first film as a director, “Good Fortune,” is set to be released Friday, Oct. 17, 2025. The comedy film will star himself, Keanu Reeves, Seth Rogen, Keke Palmer and Sandra Oh. The South Carolina native also had guest roles in “Bob’s Burgers,” “Scrubs,” “Reno 911.” and “Adventure Time.”
