Chipotle’s ‘milestone’ restaurant in Johnson County will open soon. Here’s where it is
Chipotle Mexican Grill opened its newest location in the Kansas City area Thursday.
The location at 14833 W. 151st St. in Olathe marks the company’s 1,000th Chipotlane — a pickup lane for online orders that was introduced in 2018.
Moving forward, the company said in a news release, it aims to include a Chipotlane at the majority of its locations.
The Olathe restaurant will also be open for dine-in and carryout daily. Its hours will be 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Chipotle has more than two dozen restaurants in the area, including another nearby in Olathe at 20080 W. 153rd St. The company began in Denver in 1993 and sells made-to-order burrito bowls, burritos, quesadillas and other Tex-Mex items.
Chipotle opened a Midtown Kansas City location Tuesday at 1814 Westport Road. It also features a Chipotlane.
