67-year-old woman with dementia reported missing from Independence is found safe: Police

Update: Donna Delrise Morgan was found safe on Monday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Independence police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 67-year-old woman who’s believed to be endangered.

Donna Delrise Morgan was last seen leaving her residence at 819 S. Huttig Ave. at 7 a.m. on Monday. She reportedly left on foot and had not returned home as of noon.

Morgan has been diagnosed with dementia and may have suffered from a stroke last week, according to a Silver advisory from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. She has been prescribed several medications.

Morgan is a 5’2, Black female who weighs about 190 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black scrub pants and brown sandals. She has a tattoo on her right shoulder.

Anyone who has information or sees Morgan is asked to immediately call 911 or the Independence Police Department at 816-325-7300.
