Update: Tavia Hunt, wife of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, told her Instagram followers the family gave Taylor Swift “a Judith Leiber miniaudiere Swarovski microphone purse.”

What do you give a star like Taylor Swift for her birthday? Swifties have been “dying to know” since Sunday.

That’s when Ava Hunt — youngest child of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and his wife, Tavia — posted a photo of herself with Swift at last Sunday’s Chiefs-Bills game.

Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, held a large, elegantly wrapped gift with a tag that read “To Taylor, from the Hunt family.”

“PLEASE — the world is dying to know what in the world you buy as a gift for Taylor Swift!?!!?!?” wrote the first person who commented on the photo posted to Ava’s Instagram.

Well, Ava’s older sister, Gracie Hunt, answered that question on Wednesday, Swift’s 34th birthday. She, too, posed with Swift and the gift.

Gracie posted her photo on her Instagram Wednesday with birthday greetings and thanks to personal shopper Josh Trevino and Neiman Marcus NorthPark in Dallas “for procuring the perfect @judithleiberny gift! #PartyLikeIts1989.”

Judith Leiber handbags are iconic, luxury purses recognized as miniature works of art. New York designer Leiber, who died in 2018, was known for creating whimsical, bejeweled, crystal-covered novelty purses shaped like real objects. Animals were one of her well-known inspirations.

Current Leiber offerings include purses shaped like a swan, mushrooms, teddy bears, champagne bottle, a tiny carton of truffle french fries, hot air balloon, a pint of ice cream, roller skates, boom box and globe.

They come with “spare no expense” price tags. The purse shaped like a Bengal tiger? $5,995. A miniature TV with a colorful test screen? $7,995. A rocket ship? $4,995

A martini, with olives, no less. $5,795.

A curator of the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art once said that describing Leiber as an accessory designer was “a little like calling Louis Comfort Tiffany a designer of lighting fixtures.”

Leiber also makes jewelry and other accessories, but the box the Hunt family gave Swift was a bit large for a bracelet or belt.

(And who gifts something from Judith Leiber if not a purse?)

Fashionistas pay close attention to Swift’s purses. Just a few days ago in New York, for instance, she carried a Naeem Khan zodiac clutch decorated with her Sagittarius astrological sign.

Gracie stopped short of divulging everything about the gift, so Swifties are still left to imagine which Leiber bag was gifted.

If we had chosen?

Either the clutch in shades of gold crystals shaped like a microphone ($4,995) or the $4,995 Hot Lips crystal clutch with crystals and shaped like luscious, Swift-like ruby lips.
