Missing 14-year-old girl found safe after last seen Saturday evening in Kansas City

Update: Missing 14-year-old Alize Walker-Van Gieson has been found and is safe, police said late Monday.

Kansas City police are asking for help finding a missing 14-year-old girl who was last seen Saturday.

Alize Walker-Van Gieson left her home near the 8100 block of East 100th Court in the evening on foot and hasn’t returned, police said.

She is believed to be heading toward California. She is in need of medical attention.

Alize is 5 feet and 3 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. She has brown eyes and red hair. Police didn’t know what clothing she wore when she last left the home.

Anyone who locates her should immediately call 911.
