Starlight Theatre is extending its “Van Gogh Alive” exhibit into January
Kansas City’s Van Gogh exhibit that’s already open will stay open a while longer.
“Van Gogh Alive”, the “large scale, immersive multi-sensory experience,” put on by Starlight Theatre and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is extending its installation until Jan. 14.
This is not to be confused with “Immersive Van Gogh,” a second experiential Van Gogh exhibit coming to Kansas City, that was delayed until February. Starlight’s exhibit is the only one open in town in November, December and now January.
Starlight’s “Van Gogh Alive” exhibit was originally set to close at the end of December. It features high-definition projections of Vincent Van Gogh’s artwork, which make it possible for viewers to see new details in the famous painter’s creations.
Tickets are still available through Starlight. You can find them here.
If you’re confused why there are two Van Gogh exhibits, The Star broke down the differences between the two. If you bought tickets to “Immersive Van Gogh” and have questions, we answered some here.
