Crash on I-35 in Johnson County Monday night leaves man hospitalized
A Kansas City, Kansas, man was hospitalized following a Monday night crash on the side of Interstate 35 in Johnson County, officials said.
The 56-year-old pedestrian was believed to be seriously injured when a Toyota RAV4 driven by a man from Overland Park struck a Nissan truck stalled on the side southbound I-35 near 75th Street, according to a news release from Kansas Highway Patrol.
The force of the SUV pushed the truck into the pedestrian around 9:15 p.m., according to highway patrol. He was taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital.
