Motorcyclist dies from injuries after crash in Kansas City, Kansas

A 62-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash Tuesday afternoon in Kansas City, Kansas, police said.

Kansas City, Kansas, police officers were called about 4:39 p.m. to the 1100 block of North Second Street to investigate the wreck.

Officers located the motorcycle and the driver, who was critically injured. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

In a statement from police Wednesday, the victim was identified as Bruce McFarland, a Kansas City, Missouri, resident.

The crash remains under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s traffic unit.
