Need transportation to the Super Bowl parade? Here’s where to pick up a free shuttle
Looking to venture into downtown Kansas City on Wednesday for the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade and rally? RideKC will operate free parade shuttles at five Park & Ride locations.
While the shuttles will help fans avoid the hassle of finding parking, riders will need to prepare for a walk to their final destinations because the pickup and drop-off locations are about a mile from Union Station.
For those not headed to Union Station, the walk will be a bit shorter, with drop-off locations within about a half-mile of the nearest point on the parade route, according to RideKC.
The KC Streetcar announced it would suspend service Wednesday because of the anticipated crowds downtown. It will resume service when it’s safe to do so after the parade, officials said.
The first shuttles will leave the Park & Ride locations at 7 a.m. and continue throughout the morning until 11 a.m.
After the celebration, shuttle service will return riders to the Park & Ride locations until about 6 p.m.
Fans should board return shuttles where they were dropped off before the parade. Buses will have their destination displayed on the overhead sign.
The shuttle buses will travel directly to and from the drop-off and pickup locations and Park & Ride locations. They will not pick up or drop off passengers along the way.

Here are the Park & Ride locations to pick up a shuttle:
