This KC burger joint will open its first standalone location with bigger menu

Kansas City’s Disco Burger announced Monday it is opening a second location in Brookside .

Disco Burger, 319 Delaware St. in the River Market, has served up smash burgers, hot dogs, fries and sundaes outside Varsity Club since 2024.

On Monday, the business announced the upcoming opening in an Instagram post, “BROOKSIDE, see you sometime near the summer.”

The new location, 600 E. 63rd St., will have indoor and outdoor dining and a walk-up window for take out, according to co-founder Matt Chapman and co-owner Darren Carter.

There will also be more menu items including soft serve ice cream, shared appetizers, steak frites and a small bar.

An opening date has yet to be announced.
