Seasons 52 has closed on the Country Club Plaza.

Staff was informed by management Monday morning that Sunday night’s service was its last, an employee told The Star.

The restaurant and wine bar opened in 2011 at 340 Ward Parkway, a space previously occupied by an Eddie Bauer store.

Seasons 52 is part of Darden Restaurants, which also operates The Capital Grille, Eddie V’s, The Olive Garden and Longhorn Steakhouse, among other brands. More than 40 Seasons 52 locations are still open across the U.S., though none remain in Missouri or Kansas.

The restaurant joins a growing exodus of restaurants and shops on the Country Club Plaza. Recent retail departures include Claire’s, Parachute, Razzleberry, Express and Forever 21. Brio Italian Grille and the poke and sushi spot Hokibar have also closed in the early months of 2025.

Dallas-based HP Village Partners purchased the Plaza in July, promising major improvements to the shopping district. But progress has been slow.

“It’s really hard for us to drive traffic when we have no neighbors who are bringing in traffic,” one Plaza retailer recently told The Star.
