KPot, a national Korean barbecue and hot pot chain, has just opened its second location in the Kansas City area.

The company’s newest restaurant is in Legends Outlets Kansas City, 1705 Village West Parkway in Kansas City, Kansas.

At KPot, customers choose from a menu of meat, seafood, noodles, veggies and other raw ingredients. They place the ingredients on a grill built into the table or in a pot and cook everything to their liking.

The new location is open daily, from noon to 10:30 p.m.

Last year, KPot entered the Kansas City market with its Overland Park location, 7001 W. 135th St.

The company has dozens of locations around the country and lists another Kansas City location as “coming soon” on its website, though it does not provide an address.

KPot could not be reached for comment about the upcoming restaurant Wednesday afternoon.

There aren’t many Korean hot pot restaurants in the Kansas City area. One other, Lotus Hot Pot & Grill, is in Gladstone at 6591 N. Oak Trafficway.
