Another Buffalo Wild Wings is about to open in Johnson County. This one is different
National chain Buffalo Wild Wings is opening an on-the-go location in Johnson County — the first Buffalo Wild Wings GO in the area and the state.
Buffalo Wild Wings GO will open at 6638 Monticello Road in Shawnee on Wednesday.
The restaurant is focused on takeout and delivery, but it will also have limited seating and a walk-up counter, according to a spokesperson.The company opened its first scaled-down GO model in Atlanta in 2020.
In honor of its opening, the first 50 customers will receive deals for free wings.
Buffalo Wild Wings serves boneless and traditional wings with sauces including Thai curry, orange chicken, spicy garlic and jammin’ jalapeno.
The location will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sundays through Fridays and 11 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays.
