Whataburger debuts its sauces in thousands of grocery stores, some around Kansas City

Patrick Mahomes’ beloved ketchup is now a whole lot easier to serve at home.

Whataburger is offering its ketchup and other signature sauces in more than 3,500 grocery stores across its 14-state restaurant footprint and beyond.

In the Kansas City area, many Walmart grocery stores are now offering the products, just in time for National Ketchup Day last Sunday.

Customers should check their local stores for availability but these items are expected to be in stock:

Fancy Ketchup 20-ounce and 40-ounce

Spicy Ketchup 20-ounce and 40-ounce

Original Mustard

Real Mayonnaise

Classic Honey Mustard

One-of-a-kind Creamy Pepper Sauce

Spicy Jalapeño Ranch

Buffalo Sauce

Honey BBQ Sauce

Creamy Buttermilk Ranch

Mahomes is part of the new Whataburger franchise, KMO Burger, which plans to open 30 locations from Wichita to St. Joseph — but mostly in the Kansas City metro.

Its first location was scheduled to open Tuesday in Kansas City, Kansas, and it also announced a new Northland location.

After the popular Texas-based burger chain offered to send Mahomes some of his favorite ketchup and a T-shirt in late 2018, he tweeted back, “I just want a store in Kansas City!”

Mahomes said in a news conference that his favorite brand of ketchup was served at Whataburger.
