Kansas City area health code violations: The Bullpen, Tuk Tuk Thai, Teocali, more

Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links are not available).

The Bullpen on 135th Bar & Grill, 11316 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had 16 priority violations during a March 11 licensing inspection.

Tuk Tuk Thai, 8351 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had 14 priority violations during a March 9 routine inspection.

The Junction on Santa Fe, 12804 Santa Fe Trail Drive, Lenexa, had eight priority violations during a March 14 follow-up inspection.

Sushi UNI, 12841 W. 87th Street Parkway, Lenexa, had eight priority violations during a March 8 routine inspection.

Carniceria y Tortilleria San Antonio, 830 Kansas Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a March 14 routine inspection.

1889 Pizza Napoletana, 2876 W. 47th Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a March 13 routine inspection.

Overland Park Grill by J. Alexander’s Restaurant, 11471 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a March 3 routine inspection. It had four priority violations during a March 14 follow-up inspection.
