KC restaurants with multiple health violations include Vietnamese eatery, Brookside bar

Here are area restaurants with seven or more critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city health inspectors.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas City Health Department cited these operations for seven or more critical health code violations:

Pho 79, a new Vietnamese restaurant, 1447 Independence Ave., Suite 135, had eight critical violations during a Jan. 20 routine inspection.

The Brooksider Sportsbar & Grill, 6330 Brookside Plaza, had seven critical violations during a Jan. 12 routine inspection.

Dirty Bird Bar & Grill, 6600 Blue Ridge Blvd., had seven critical violations during a Jan. 12 routine inspection. It had one critical violation during a Jan. 19 follow-up inspection.
