Shawnee sushi, Overland Park BBQ cited for multiple priority health code violations

Here are recent Kansas City-area restaurant inspections. Inspections were compiled for Feb. 25.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter.

Sakura Sushi Train, 7474 Nieman Road, Shawnee, had 16 priority violations during a Feb. 20 routine inspection.

El Restaurante Tierra Caliente, 624 Kansas Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had 15 priority violations during a Feb. 20 routine inspection.

Sharks Restaurant & Bar, 10320 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Shawnee, had 13 priority violations during a Feb. 18 routine inspection.

Hyatt Place, 8741 Ryckert St., Lenexa, had 12 priority violations during a Feb. 13 routine inspection.

Smokey’s on the Blvd BBQ, 8669 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had 10 priority violations during a Feb. 17 follow-up inspection.

Target, 15345 W. 119th St., Olathe, had 10 priority violations during a Feb. 20 routine inspection.

Planet Sub, 15157 W. 119th St., Olathe, had eight priority violations during a Feb. 19 routine inspection.

Aloha Chopstix, 4316 Rainbow Blvd., Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 19 routine inspection.

Dairy Queen, 518 E. Main St., Gardner, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 18 routine inspection.

KC India Mart, 8542 W. 133rd St., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 20 routine inspection.

Sprouts Farmers Market, 6821 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 18 follow-up inspection.
