Kansas City Power & Light, Plaza restaurants cited for multiple health code violations

Here are recent Kansas City-area restaurant inspections. Inspections were compiled for Feb. 19.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter.

The Kansas City Health Department reports with seven or more critical violations:

Hamburger Mary’s Bar & Grille, 3700 Broadway, No. 110, had 11 critical violations during a Feb. 4 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a Feb. 11 follow-up inspection.

Jamdown Kitchen, 6836 Prospect Ave., had 10 critical violations during a Feb. 6 routine inspection.

Los Corrals, 408 W. Ninth St., had eight critical violations during a Feb. 6 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a Feb. 15 follow-up inspection.

Texas Tom’s, 6950 Prospect Ave., had eight critical violations during a Feb. 6 routine inspection.

Chuy’s, Country Club Plaza, 209 W. 46th Terrace, had seven critical violations during a Feb. 6 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a Feb. 14 follow-up inspection.

801 Chophouse, Power & Light District, 71 E. 14th St., had seven critical violations during a Feb. 7 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a Feb. 14 follow-up inspection.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations. Direct links are not available.

Tea Garden, 12755 Mur-Len Road, B 4, Olathe, had 13 priority violations during a Feb. 17 routine inspection.

Hakata Sushi & Hibachi, 11658 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had 12 priority violations during a Feb. 17 first operational inspection after licensing.

Paleteria Shawnee, 10928 W. 74th St., Shawnee, had 11 priority violations during a Feb. 14 inspection following a complaint.

Spring Cafe, Sunflower Bakery, main kitchen, Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe Ave., Leawood, had 10 priority violations during a Feb. 14 routine inspection.

Las Gorditas, 844 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had eight priority violations during a Feb. 5 routine inspection.

Mi Pueblito Meat Market, 7425 Quivira Road, Kansas City, Kansas, had nine priority violations during a Feb. 10 routine inspection.

Pizza Street, 7399 Quivira Road, Shawnee, had eight priority violations during a Feb. 12 routine inspection.

The Shack, 7940 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had eight priority violations during a Feb. 9 routine inspection.

Titinus Dulceria, 4305 State Ave, Kansas City, Kansas, had eight priority violations during a Feb. 17 routine inspection.

Bobo Chinese, 1471 E. 151st St., Olathe, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 7 follow-up inspection.

Burritos To Go, 701 B Central Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 17 routine inspection.
