Westport Indian restaurant, Lawrence bakery cited with multiple health code violations
Here are recent Kansas City-area restaurant inspections. Inspections were compiled for Feb. 10.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter.

The Kansas City Health Department reports with seven or more critical violations:
▪ Moti Mahal Cuisine of India, 4113 Pennsylvania Ave. in Westport, had seven priority violations during a Jan. 21 routine inspection. It had four critical violations during a Jan. 31 follow-up inspection.
The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations. Direct links are not available.
▪ Fonda El Sobrino, 4747 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had 14 priority violations during a Feb. 4 verification inspection.
▪ Tequila Harry’s Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, 11817 College Blvd., Overland Park, had 13 priority violations during a Feb. 6 routine inspection.
▪ China Buffet, 7914 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had 10 priority violations during a Feb. 5 verification inspection.
▪ Black Bear Diner, 11981 S. Strang Line Road, Olathe, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 5 first operational inspection after licensing.
▪ Chili’s Grill & Bar, 5880 Antioch Road, Merriam, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 3 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Formosa Bakery, 2201 W. 25th St., Suite L, Lawrence, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 4 routine inspection.
▪ Mama Lilly’s, 5512 Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 3 licensing inspection.
▪ Salty Iguana Mexican Restaurant, 8228 Mission Road, Prairie Village, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 5 routine inspection.
▪ Stop N Shop, 400 N. 10th St., Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 3 routine inspection.
▪ Walmart Neighborhood Market, 10303 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 4 routine inspection.
