Multiple health code violations for Salvadoran, Mediterranean restaurants; fitness cafe
Here are recent Kansas City-area restaurant inspections. Inspections were compiled for Jan. 27.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations. Direct links are not available.
▪ El Salvadoreno, 9860 W. 87th Street Parkway, Overland Park, had 12 priority violations during a Jan. 22 routine inspection.
▪ The Fresh Mediterranean Co., 7060 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had 10 priority violations during a Jan. 22 first operational inspection after licensing.
▪ LifeCafe, Lifetime Fitness, 6800 W. 138th St., Overland Park, had 10 priority violations during a Jan. 24 routine inspection.
▪ Black Stag Brewery, 623 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, had nine priority violations during a Jan. 22 follow-up inspection.
▪ KC Garden, 12225 S. Strang Line Road, Olathe, had eight priority violations during a Jan. 22 follow-up inspection.
▪ The Mad Greek Restaurant, 907 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, had eight priority violations during a Jan. 24 follow-up inspection.
▪ Hy-Vee, 8900 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Jan. 23 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Pepperjax Grill, 5922 Barkley St., Suite 100, Mission, had seven priority violations during a Jan. 22 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Sarpino’s Pizzeria, 3804 W. 95th St., Leawood, had seven priority violations during a Jan. 21 routine inspection.
